IN SUMMARY:
All Campground fees are included in your payment as is the the Rafting trip itself. Firewood is also included. What most people do is take a cooler with beer or whatever you drink for 2 1/2 days worth (maybe a couple of cases, water, Gatorade), your own food for Friday, Saturday morn (if u do breakfast), and Sunday (again, if u do breakfast). Make sure you take some sort of big thermos or plastic gallon for the rafting portion of it. What you want to do is fill it with ur fav. cocktail. eg 1 liter of vodka with say Red Bull Cranberry. People do all sorts of combos...Vodka/Apple Cider, Jack n Coke, etc.) - that beverage is super important! Don't forget that!
During the rafting/river ride we'll encounter two (2) "rest stops". Make sure to have a good $20-$40 as said rest stops will serve as bathroom break, food and drink stop (burgers, hotdogs, chips etc as well as beer n stuff). Whatever amount of cash you bring - make sure it is kept in a water-proof container or plastic bag such as a couple of double-lock ziploc baggies. If you smoke this is also where your smokes will reside as well.
What happens is that after we get back from the rafting trip (Saturday around 5PM or so) - some people shower, some dont, some nap - some dont, the camp coordinators set-up the community grills, picnic tables, camp fire, corn-hole (bean-bags) and such. We start grilling and lines form for the food. We basically eat, play, jam-out to loud-speakers & DJS and drink after that 'til the weeeeee hrs of the night.
Sunday you can basically leave whenever you want to. Some people leave in the morning others stay until 5Pm. Depending on your drive and how much of that outdoor air you want to keep taking-in.
Definitely bring plenty of quarters as the showers are coin-operated. A quarter basically gives you 3 minutes of water/shower.
Outside of that an obvious cost is gasoline which isn't really bad - about a tank and a half.
Hope you're excited!!!
